This area is accessed via Indians Road from the Arroyo Seco Campground.  Indians Road is 18 miles long and connects Arroyo Seco to the Indians though some extremely rugged terrain.  The first three miles from Arroyo Seco follows the Arroyo Seco River which drains much of the Northern Santa Lucia Range into the Salinas River.  Several excellent swimming holes can be accessed from this section of Indians Road.  This area gets extremely hot in the summer so be prepared for the heat and flies during this time.
