Montana de Oro is a state park located on the southern tip of Estero Bay.  MDO has an extensive network of trails.  Some good loops can be formed linking the different trails and roads  together.  You'll  encounter a variety of riding terrain ranging from sandy on the lower sections close to the ocean, to loose rocky sections of Monterey shale as you climb, to hard pack as you go further inland.
